July Vegan Swap Note
I had a wonderful surprise this month, because I was introduced to Gin Gins (yes, I’m a ginger fanatic). I’ve missed hard candy since I became vegan and these hit the spot. My next discovery was the vegan bouillon cubes. While I make most of my soups from scratch, I love having a bouillon cube handy for instant broths. Since I recently switch to eating gluten-free pasta, I find adding a little flavor to the water make the noodles taste DYNAMITE!! So, now I plop in a vegan bouillon cube.

August Vegan Swap Note:
My favorite items in my August Food Swap was the tomato chutney. I’m a huge indian food fan, so vegan chutney makes my heart melt. The Flax chips have plenty of flavor and the garlic pressed olive oil is perfect for salads and a little bread smothering. As we transition to the fall, I look forward to trying the teas…..there’s nothing like drink tea on the porch in the south.
