OC Veganista was created for the sole purpose of venting my ideals about animal rights and my adventures while becoming vegan. My love for animals is why I chose this lifestyle; they have brought so much to my life without ever asking for anything back. I have a voice that can be heard, and I am happy to use it for an animal’s benefit any day. Being vegan is one of the best choices I have ever made for myself. I feel that I am truly lucky to have such a healthy lifestyle be right in line with my values.
Being both vegan and involved in animal rights, I realized my choices as a consumer needed an overhaul in addition to my eating. OC Veganista chronicles my finds as I substitute all my meals, cosmetics, toiletries, activities and fashion choices into vegan and cruelty-free options. The animal cruelty that is involved in making simple things like certain brands of eye shadow or soap is completely unnecessary, and my website is an all access pass to knowledge of what you can buy without supporting animal abuse.
I stick by the fact that I don’t miss out on anything while avoiding food and products that involve animal harm. The quality of my life has actually been strengthened greatly, and I am happy to share all that I come across with my readers.
Over time my viewership strengthened and I began being offered opportunities to try and review cruelty-free products, food and activities. This is an absolute blast for me, and the website remains something created as my own little billboard for veganism. I don’t have any bias towards any one company or product because as I said before, this little website was built out of my love for this lifestyle. It thrills me that I have the opportunity to share what I have learned with you all, and continue to learn from all of you through your comments and posts as well. Thanks for reading!
