Terra Plana designs and produces a variety of eco-friendly shoes. The company strives to create a 100 percent sustainable shoe through recycled materials that are durable, light and anatomically designed. While not all Terra Plana's shoes are vegan, almost 40 of them are – and these range from $50 to $160. The line includes everything from pumps to sandals.

| The Happy Herbivore Cookbook |
The Happy Herbivore Cookbook contains over 200 fat-free and low-fat vegan recipes. The majority of the recipes are completely new, but a few fan favorites from the blog have been included. True to Happy Herbivore's cooking style, the recipes focus on using wholesome, affordable ingredients – such as whole grains, vegetables, fruits and legumes – and simple cooking methods. Most recipes take less than 30 minutes to prepare and over half of the book is gluten free.

Vegan menu items include a leek and spinach quiche, a cheese pie, sausage rolls, chickpea curry, and lemon coconut cheesecake. Fairfoods Catering was started in 2009 and all of their food is free of animal products. Organic and local products are used whenever possible and gluten-free options are also available.

Because each cookie should be handmade and not manufactured in the thousands. At Emily's Desserts customers can browse an enticing selection of vegan donuts, cookies, cakes, gourmet pretzel rods and cocoa mixes. The company also custom creates elegant wedding cakes as well as playful, red Elmo birthday cakes. All products are free from cholesterol, eggs, dairy, and gluten – and production is carried out using 100 percent wind power.

| The Vegan 101: Dallas/Fort Worth meetup group has an active following of 451 vegans. In the past, the group has held Thanksgiving potlucks, Mardi Gras potlucks, summer BBQs, Teese vegan cheese pizza parties, and animal sanctuary volunteer days. |
Located in Madison, Wisconsin, this vegetarian meetup group meets every other week, usually alternating between a vegan dinner at a local restaurant and a social event such as bowling, board games, apple picking, miniature golf, and camping. |
The Vegetarian Film and Music Production meetup group is located in Miami, Florida. The group encourages and promotes vegetarian and vegan lifestyles through music and film. The group currently works on documentary films and plans to include more music projects in the future. |
