Do you love to talk VEGAN? Do you want to tap into some of the vegan movement’s most exciting movers and shakers? Then our new #VMTalks are for you!
On Tuesday, February 5th at 6 pm PST Vegan Mainstream will be hosting the first in a series of Live Twitter Chats with our Health & Fitness Expert, Lani Muelrath. Lani is launching her new book Fit Quickies: 5-Minute Body Shaping Targeted Workouts that day, and we’re going to have her on the line to answer your health and fitness-related questions about veganism!
How do you get involved? You can either go to Vegan Mainstream’s Twitter page at 6 pm PST on Tuesday and just join in OR use Tweetchat.
Follow these easy steps to participate via Tweetchat:
1) Go to http://tweetchat.com/ and link your Twitter account to Tweetchat (by pressing the “allow” button)
2) Enter the hashtags #VMTalks
3) Start chatting!
Some benefits of using Tweetchat:
- Each tweet automatically gets the hashtag added and the room auto-updates.
- You can use the “User Control” area to feature people you like or to block spammers.
- “Smart pausing” has been added so when you scroll down the page, it will not refresh, helping you avoid replying to the wrong person.
To start we will be hosting #VMTalks once every couple of weeks, and we will feature the conversation in a blog post the following day, so if you aren’t able to make the live chat, you won’t have to miss out altogether. Stay tuned to our blog, facebook page and twitter feed to hear about upcoming #VMTalks hosts and topics. If there’s a topic you’d love to see us discuss, let us know in the comments below!
