We all have a person in our lives who we find it difficult to get along with. There are various reasons for this, and we all deal with the person who plays that role in our lives in different ways. No matter the reason, it’s important to remember that when we harbour grudges or annoyances, we harm ourselves – often more than the person the grudge or annoyance is directed toward.
Today, take steps to be a happier, healthier person, and to spread that happiness and peace into the world, by letting go of that anger, resentment and anxiety. Try to see things from that person’s perspective, and maybe you will find yourself in a better place to make peace with them.
Whether your negative feelings are on the surface, or buried deep down, you can be sure they are harming you. You may seek peace for your another’s sake, but at least do it for your own.
