Take a moment of quiet for peace

Wednesday LakeOne of the things I find really helps me to maintain my balance on a daily basis is taking some time to meditate or sit quietly. I try to meditate for an hour each day, but there are lots of days that just doesn’t happen. Still, I have done this for long enough to know that it really makes a difference, and helps me to center myself, remember my real purpose in life – and it just makes me a happier, calmer person. And when I feel happier, calmer, more peaceful, I project that out into the world wherever I go. So whether it’s an hour, or just a few minutes in the car while I’m waiting for something I try, everyday, to make space for some quiet. Take some time to sit quietly today – try 10 minutes, 20 minutes or more, and see if it doesn’t help you to be a more peaceful part of this planet.
