One of my favorite new traditions is going for a hike with my husband and our visitors on Christmas day. I have always loved Christmas, but somewhere between adolescence and early adulthood it started to seem a little stifling and over-full with too much food. Once we started our hike tradition, we never looked back. It’s always so quiet, and it feels so right to be out in nature on this special day of the year. Try it if you can!
